StirStudios recently relaunched DancePlug's website along with a new marketing strategy. The main goals at the top of the list for the rebuild were speed, theme optimization, simplicity and focused. If you take a look, I think you will agree we achieved all of the above! DancePlug is such a creative client to work with and we wanted to help them showoff some of the changes we made:
New interactive homepage
The new homepage says it all giving the viewer what they need to know on their first impression. In one hit viewers can now understand what makes DancePlug rock in their career profiles, online dance classes, the Dish - your news-flash channel for all things dance and lastly their awesome demo reels.
About Section
The about section got dressed up and a fun way allowing users to walk through DancePlug in more detail as to everything it covers. If you want to know more about DancePlug and why it is the leading place for dancers then go, go, go.
Featured Career Profiles
Each week a featured career profile is promoted on the homepage, throughout the community and inside The Dish. We are not just talking about a small thumbnail squeezed into a corner but a prominant section to have your profile and career promote to thr world of dance. Such a great way to give back to the community.
Profile Search
Quite a simple upgrade here but powerful indeed. Profiles can be found very easily by an intuitive searching system. Viewers can search by a specific name or various categories to find exaclty who and what they want.
The DancePlug Dish
Now we know this is nothing new but hey we produce this for DancePlug every week and we think it rocks! The E-TV for Dance. Go have yourself a look.
DancePlug Interviews
This got a big overhaul adding in the ability for DancePlug to include and stream all their YouTube videos. Some in-depth videos from loads of dance celebrities.
Career Profiles
These got suited up and tweaked to promote everyone better. Now anyone can promote a profile through a smart looking email to their contacts. Adding YouTube videos could not be easier through their profile overlay system and editing got a whole lot faster.
DancePlug Store
This got a complete make over making simplicity and direct to the point top priority. DancePlug's T-shirts have now been added and are very cool indeed.
