Tri-Link had a new Foreign Trade Zone warehouse opening up at their Los Angeles location and needed a slick post mailer and e-newsletter to send out to their clients and prospects.

For branding continuity, the designs were to keep the website and original trifold color scheme and look.

The StirStudios team had an extremely busy start to the summer with many video projects:

  • The band Blind Horse Canyon had StirStudios film and edit two music videos. Multiple angles, climbing up hills, live recordings.  Then back into the studio for post production with final touching to color grading and titles;
  • We created the opening and closing segments for Variety City TV - first filmed on our green screen studio then editing and composition;
  • Edited the intro video for GROOV3's Living Room Sessions;
  • Filmed shows for Wild Card Dance;
  • And started on the new trailer for the short film "Courage".

Poleamor Launches Its Online Store

Big e-commerce project here, involing many different features.  Ubercart was used yet again with ajax features to make the cart all fancy.  Image Cloud Zoom was used for the product galleries so you can truly see detail.

A custom search was created as well so viewers can easily see products and suggestions as they type.  The colorbox was implemented for any overlays that were required.  Multiple products required attribute dependencies as well as implementing a color picker for vaious color options.

This store also needed SSL installed as they can accept credit cards and post options.

It's Not You, It's Me, just launched their brand new site jam packed with some cool new features.  The site offers a fun way to breakup with whoever you are dating.  Pick a video, add a message and email it to the person you want to breakup with.  Truly a fun concept.

This project required ecommerce so we used Ubercart along with some nice ajax for the cart.  Blogs was another super important part to the site, as they offer invaluable info in dealing with many different scenarios!

LACDC's New Trailer: Cave... A Dance For Lilith

Apr
20

Having already filmed "Cave... A Dance For Lilith" we had a headstart as to where some of the memorable moments lay.  The trailer needed to show off the visual scrumptiousness as well as the spoken word, which is an integral part to the work.  Once the chosen text and music was agreed upon we were able to finesse a new underscore to support the trailer.  Building this trailer based on text rather than music was quite refreshing.  Opening and closing titles were created incorporating already defined, fonts, colors and photos.

Artistic Director Kate Hutter and Aaron Henne were both uber happy with the end result.  Another victory for the StirStudios Team. YAY.
