Professionalvideo editing shaped around your story

You have the footage. We’ll help you shape it into a finished film, with a clear structure, the right pacing and polished color, sound and titles.

Send your media from anywhere. You work directly with us, the people editing your film, drawing on more than 20 years of cutting performance, brand and documentary video. No extra production layer in between.

Editing that serves your story

Good editing is felt more than noticed. Before we cut, we get to know your footage, goals, audience and deliverables, then build the edit around the story your material needs to tell, not a house formula.

A trailer needs energy and a hook in its opening seconds. A documentary needs patience and room to breathe. A brand film needs to say who you are, clearly. We shape each edit around what it’s for.

Editing live performance is its own skill

Cut a beat early and a performance loses its lift. We get the arts world, so we edit live work with the performers in mind: keeping moments intact, choosing the angle that shows the stage best, and holding music and movement in sync across multiple cameras.

“As a videographer and editor, Glyn brings both an artist’s eye and a professional’s skill to every project.”

— Laura Karlin
Artistic Director, Invertigo Dance Theatre

Complete post-production

We edit in Final Cut Pro, build titles and motion graphics in Apple Motion and prepare every deliverable in Compressor. Depending on what your project needs, post-production includes:

  • Footage organization, selects and multi-camera sync
  • Story structure, pacing and music editing
  • Titles, credits and motion graphics
  • Color correction and grading
  • Audio cleanup and balancing
  • 4K masters, web versions and vertical cutdowns for social media

If your project needs something specialist, like complex animation, footage restoration or licensed music, we’ll talk it through up front so your estimate reflects the real project.

A clear remote editing workflow

  1. Project review: we talk through your goals, audience, footage, references, schedule and deliverables.
  2. Media handoff: you send source footage, audio, brand assets, music and copy securely.
  3. First cut: structure, pacing and creative direction, ready for you to review.
  4. Review rounds: your team shares one set of notes each round, and we refine the edit over the agreed rounds.
  5. Finishing and delivery: final color, audio and graphics, exported in every format you need.

Most projects are delivered within two to four weeks of receiving your footage, depending on length, complexity and how quickly reviews come back.

Performance, brand and promotional editing

We’ve edited performance films, trailers, brand and promotional pieces, documentaries, educational content and artist-led projects. That includes Butta Creame, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Backhausdance and Invertigo Dance Theatre, and we film and edit the performing arts productions of Flintridge Preparatory School. Some of these relationships go back many years.

“They consistently deliver polished, professional videos that our students, families, and faculty look forward to. Just as importantly, they’re prepared, adaptable, and a pleasure to work with.”

— Adam Quinn
Extracurricular Performing Arts Director, Flintridge Preparatory School

Editing only, or the full production

If you already have footage, remote editing may be all you need. If your project also needs filming, creative development or multi-camera performance coverage, we can take it from first idea to final cut through video production.

Planning something bigger? We can shape your edit alongside branding and website work, or keep it a focused standalone project.
